Document Controller

Responsibilities:

• Management of incoming/outgoing correspondence
• Distribution of project correspondence within the project team
• Issue receive documentation to Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT), subcontractors and 3^rd parties
• Maintenance and ongoing folder structure development in Project filing system
• Support project teams in ensuring the smooth running of screening and approvals process in terms of document issue
• Working with Project Manager to co-ordinate the issue/approval release of documentation
• Produce reports when needed of latest documents/drawings issued to the Client 

Requirements:

• Proficient in MS Office Applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and others
• Experience in storing and registering high volumes of documents in electronic and hard copy format
• Confidence to track and chase documentation as required to meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail in terms of document preparation ensuring and checking that all required non-technical information is included on documents prior to uploading onto the clients system
• Work as part of a team to provide administrative support to project teams in respect of the generation, storage and transmittal of different types of documentation
• Experience of working in web based document systems
• Extremely organised and structured in approach of tasks
• Able to work to tight deadlines
• Under the supervision and direction of the Project Control Manager work to ensure the generation of high quality project documentation.
• Experience in engineering or construction background is an added advantage

SENIOR TRANSPORT PLANNERS/MODELLERS

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience in modeling and forecasting for various modes of transportation
• Familiar with EMME / 3 or similar software

SENIOR ENGINEERS - STRUCTURES / BRIDGE

• Degree in Civil / Structural with a minimum of 8 years related working experience

in industry / power plants / high rise building / bridge

 

SENIOR ENGINEERS - MECHANICAL

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years working experience in building services and / or sewerage / water pumping system

 

SENIOR ENGINEERS - DRAINAGE

• Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 8 years working experience in design of drainage / flood mitigation projects
• Preferable with knowledge in computer applications in hydrological / hydraulic analyses

SENIOR ENGINEERS - GEOTECHNICAL

• Degree in Civil Engineering plus post graduation in Geotechnical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years working experience
• Experience in slope stabilization, land reclamation, ground improvement and deep excavation works
• Experience with Finite Element software (e.g. PLAXIS would be an added advantage)

 

SENIOR ENGINEERS - INFRASTRUCTURE / WATER

• Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 8 years working experience in designing, earthworks, road and drain, drainage, water treatment & supply and sewerage works
• Good technical report writing skills

SENIOR ENGINEERS - HIGHWAY / RAILWAY

• Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 8 years working experience in design of highway / roads / railway

ENGINEERS-PLANNERS / SCHEDULERS

• Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in Project Scheduling for engineering works using software like MS Project / Primavera

ENGINEERS - ALL ENGINEERING DISCIPLINES

• Relevant recognized Engineering Degree
• 3-8 years related working experience in earthworks, roads, drainage, water supply and sewerage works

 

CHIEF RESIDENT ENGINEERS / SENIOR RESIDENT ENGINEER

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• PE with a minimum of 15 years working experience in managing either one or more of the following: railway projects / highway projects / building services / architectural services / building construction involving multi-disciplinary works

 

RESIDENT ENGINEERS (RE) - (ALL DISCIPLINES)

• Relevant recognized Engineering Degree with a minimum of 8 years site supervision
• Certified Professional Engineer

ASST. RESIDENT ENGINEERS (ARE) - (ALL DISCIPLINES)

• Relevant recognized Engineering Degree with minimum of 5 years site supervision experience

GRADUATE ENGINEER - (ALL DISCIPLINES)

• Relevant Recognized Degree in Engineering with minimum CGPA of 3.0 points and above

QUANTITY SURVEYORS / SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

• Degree holder with minimum of 3 years related working experience
• Knowledge in quantity take-off & cost estimation, cost control, tender bids, preparation of tender & contract documents and contractual dispute resolutions
• Senior position with minimum of 8 years relevant working experience and registered with Board of Surveyors Malaysia

LAND SURVEYORS

• Relevant degree with 3 years or more related working experience
• Knowledge in GPS site surveying, topographical map and GIS processing

GEOMATIC ANALYST

• Professional Degree in Remote Sensing / GIS or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years related working experience
• Preferably specializing in Remote Sensing / GIS software
• Willing to travel

SURVEY TECHNICIANS

• Diploma in surveying with minimum of 3 years related working experience
• Conversant in good surveying practices

DRAUGHTPERSONS

• Relevant Computer Aided Design Drafting qualifications with good working knowledge in AutoCAD programme
• Minimum of 3-5 years relevant working experience in civil / electrical / environmental / mechanical / railway / highway / structures / infrastructure / pipeline / architectural work

TECHNICAL ASSISTANTS/ENGINEERING ASSISTANTS

• Diploma in Engineering
• Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in M&E infrastructure works and building services or civil & structural works, earthworks, drainage and road works
• Candidate with extensive working experience but without Diploma will also be considered

CLERK OF WORKS - (ALL DISCIPLINES)

• Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
• 5-20 years working experience in either one or more of the following: M&E Infrastructure works, building services or civil and structural works, earthworks, track works, drainage and road works or other relevant discipline
• Conversant with drawing and specifications

QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGERS / OFFICERS

• Relevant Degree with 5-10 years related working experience and involvement in quality assurance activities
• Familiar with internal or external auditing process
• Knowledge in ISO 9001 :2008 requirements will be an added advantage

HEALTH & SAFETY OFFICERS

• Relevant qualification and register with NIOSH

ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICERS

§         Degree in Environmental Science with 3-5 years related working experience

§         Registered with DOE as an Environmental Officer and has worked on multi-disciplinary project

CORPORATE FINANCE EXECUTIVE

• Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in a similar capacity
• Must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Able to prepare and analyze financial valuation model

BUSINESS DEVLOPMENT EXECUTIVE

• Degree in Business or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar capacity
• Able to carry out market research, business planning, administration, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison

LEGAL EXECUTIVE

• Degree in Law or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar capacity
• Able to execute, monitor and administer the overall legal unit function, which are in line with company and business needs
• Will support the company in providing efficient and consistent compliance advice and recommendations on regulations and policies in company
• Draft, vet through and review all contract, agreements, letters, proposals and other documents, which have legal statutory implications and ensure that such documents comply with the requirements of Malaysian laws and regulations

HUMAN RESOURCE EXECUTIVE

• Degree in Human Resource or equivalent
• Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in a similar capacity
• Oversee the smooth running of the full spectrum of human resources including planning, exclusion of recruitment and retention strategies, training & development, employee relations, performance management and compensation & benefits

JUNIOR SECRETARY & SECRETARIES

• Private Secretarial Certificate / Diploma
• 1-5 years of relevant working experience
• Computer literate with good typing skills
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia

DOCUMENT CONTROLLERS / ADMIN ASSISTANTS

• Minimum SPM or Certificate in any field
• Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience
• Conversant in Microsoft Office application
